The service will last around 30 minutes and will include the singing of several hymns, the reading of Scripture, and a short message all focused on the work of Jesus Christ on the cross.  And speaking of the cross, here is a good word from the late British pastor and theologian John R. W. Stott in his book The Cross of Christ:

So, far from offering us flattery, the cross undermines our self-righteousness.  We can stand before it only with a bowed head and a broken spirit.  And there we remain until the Lord Jesus speaks to our hearts his word of pardon and acceptance, and we, gripped by his love and brimful of thanksgiving, go out into the world to live our lives in his service. (p. 12)

Welcome to Our Website! https://www.graceandpeacepca.org/blog/post/welcome-to-our-new-website https://www.graceandpeacepca.org/blog/post/welcome-to-our-new-website#comments Thu, 12 Oct 2023 15:00:00 -0400 https://www.graceandpeacepca.org/blog/post/welcome-to-our-new-website Welcome to the Website of Grace and Peace Presbyterian Church (PCA)!

Thank you for stopping by for a visit.

I invite you to browse our website in order to better understand Who We Are, What We Believe, and What We Do as a church and how you may become involved in what God is doing in and through this church community.  In particular, I encourage you to read the blog posts and spend some time in the resources section.  There you will find a number of resources that we have found helpful, especially several articles that  will help you understand what we think is important when it comes to the ministry of the local church.

Grace and Peace is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). We started as a Bible study in the fall of 2007, began meeting for public worship in the fall of 2008, and was organized as a separate and particular church of the PCA in April 2016.  After meeting first in Edgewood and then in Florence, we now call Bellevue, Kentucky home.  We continue to welcome people from all over the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Lee F. Veazey, pastor
